Our Services

We see adults, adolescents & children (including babies) suffering with a number of allergic conditions including hay fever, food allergies, venom allergies, house dust mite allergies, penicillin (and other drug) allergies, general anaesthesia allergies, urticaria (hives), angioedema (swelling) and more.

 

We treat persistent eczema in children/babies, but we do not deal with cases of adult eczema.

Professional from start to finish. Lila who answered my call was well informed and knowledgeable about the services provided. She made me feel like this was the right clinic to take my daughter to and we managed to get an appointment for the following week. Dr Derrick was great with my 6 month old. She is clearly experienced and an expert in paediatric allergies. The test confirmed what we needed to know and now we have the information we need to move forward with our daughters allergies. Lab Testing Equipment

What we don't do - and why

We do not provide food intolerance or sensitivity tests such as: ​
- IgG testing
- Hair analysis
- Electrodermal testing
​
These tests have no proven benefit in the diagnosis of food allergy or intolerance, and can instead lead to worrying misdiagnosis (potentially causing further problems).  

We focus on evidence-based allergy testing only, the same as those used on the NHS. Skin prick testing and specific-IgE blood tests are the only reliable methods to help diagnose allergy.

Hay fever can be triggered by allergic reactions to different types of pollen.  Depending on the time of year that you experience your symptoms, you can determine which type of pollen you are most likely to be allergic to.
