We treat a number of allergic conditions including hay fever, food allergies, venom allergies, house dust mite allergies, penicillin (and other drug) allergies, general anaesthesia allergies, urticaria (hives), angioedema (swelling) and more.

 

We treat persistent asthma and eczema in children/babies, but we do not deal with cases of adult eczema/asthma.

Lab Testing Equipment

What we don't do - and why

We do not provide food intolerance or sensitivity tests such as: ​
- IgG testing
- Hair analysis
- Electrodermal testing

These tests have no proven benefit in the diagnosis of food allergy or intolerance. The BSACI and NHS do not recommend carrying out these tests as they may endanger patients via misdiagnosis (potentially causing further problems). 

We focus on evidence-based allergy testing only which include skin prick testing; specific-IgE blood tests; intradermal testing (where appropriate) and an oral challenge.
